Health in pregancy_04252016
The patient is a female gravida 2, para 1, who
presented to the hospital with lower abdominal pain associated with nausea and
vomiting. After her admission to
hospital, she has had 2 loose bowel movements.
No history of fever or chills. No
history of hematemesis or melena. The
patient mentioned that she was diagnosed with IBS and C. difficile colitis in
the past. Review of her colonoscopy
report which was down a few years ago by Dr. Park to terminal ilium was
entirely normal and the biopsy was not indicative of inflammatory bowel
disease. The patient is feeling better
with IV Compazine. Platelet count was
normal white cell count was 11.9. Liver
chemistry, amylase and lipase are normal.
The patient has ketones in the urine.
MRI shows 1.4 cm x 1.4 cm right ovarian cysts.
Status post cholecystectomy, fatty infiltration of liver, genital
herpes, tonsillectomy, C. difficile colitis in the past.
